What are some of the attributes of God assumed by monotheistic religions?
How do some of these attributes, taken together, pose theological problems for monotheistic religion?
I enjoyed watching these videos, especially the third one we saw in class. It's interesting to compare how different a monotheistic religion can differ from others, such as Hinduism.
This video really changed my view of what Native Americans believed in, I did not know that they believed in one Creator, I thought they were more polytheistic.

Seeing as how different cultures and religions think so differently, yet have similar principles to mine opens my eyes about the world around us. This man was very passionate and made his point clear.
Another classmate mentioned this, but it was also interesting to me how many religions believe in different things, but many of them share similar principles.
I found the different views of these religions very interesting.

ReplyDeleteI could feel the passion of Dr. Zakir Naik when he speaks of his religion. The distinction between Allah and God really stuck out to me.
ReplyDeleteDespite being very harsh sounding, I enjoyed the definition of Allah by the professor. His gave me a different perspective on Islam.
