Published on May 9, 2016
After weeks of exploring the existence of nature of god, today Hank explores one of the biggest problems in theism, and possibly the biggest philosophical question humanity faces: why is there evil?
This video was really interesting..
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy all his videos ,he summarizes everything in a few minutes.
ReplyDeleteCRAZY video, interesting content about theism
ReplyDeletethe concept of atheism is hard to wrap my head around
ReplyDeleteHe has a lot of good videos in his channel. This video is one of them. Very interesting.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this video he does a good job of summarizing the topics. This helped me understand the concept of Free Will Defense!
ReplyDeleteThis video really emphasizes the Free Will Defense.
ReplyDeletegreat tool for learning the free will defense, very interesting.
ReplyDeleteThe video gives us a great summary of some of the most popular Theodicies, although even crash course cannot find a definite and satisfying theodicy.
ReplyDeleteI read the book "Why Do Bad Things Happen to Good People" in high school and i believe at least a little bit in each of the things he said in this video. As far natural evil goes all i can really conclude is, stuff happens.
ReplyDeleteWOW i have to watch crash course more often, this made things so much easier to understand then the book. - Melanie Lalinde
ReplyDeleteEvil video
ReplyDeleteinteresting video
ReplyDeletei'm really enjoy the video, and this is really help for to understand the why there have evil .
ReplyDeleteI really liked the arguments and explanations he gave in the video. Also the animated parts were reallt cool!
ReplyDeleteUgh, i love his videos. The animations are great and you learn so much!
ReplyDeleteThese videos are very entertaining! I love watching it because of the animations and how he explains it! Awesome video!
ReplyDeleteThe best way to answer the question of "why is there evil," might simply be what the famous Albert Einstein said: "There's no such thing as evil or cold. Cold is the absence of light just like evil is the result of the absence of goodness in people."
ReplyDeleteThis was really interesting way to answer "Why is there evil" question. As a Christian, I agree that evil comes from free will that God gave to the humans. We have human desires and wills that some people act on without care of consequence. I also agree with what Jose said, that evil is the absence of good.
ReplyDeletevery cool!
ReplyDeleteHe makes the video so interesting!
ReplyDeleteThe video offers great points in how philosophers get the question of what is truly evil and it's broad spectrum.
ReplyDeleteI believer evil can be represented in many ways and forms, in some cases evil may not even be actual state of mind, it might just be misrepresentation of the self and I feel like this video could've touched upon other topics n relation that could've provided a more open outlook.
ReplyDeleteThe video talks about what is truly evil and how its not just so black and white, great video.
ReplyDeleteThe video basically talks about how evil can take many different forms and it does not fall into one specific criteria.
ReplyDeleteIn essence I believe the human problem goes as far as our human nature to survive oneself for ones life, hence where greed and sin comes from.
ReplyDeleteCrash course makes very informative videos but I personally think that they do not give a good perspective on god.
ReplyDeleteCrash course never fails get the point across in an easy way that explains the topic being discussed. This video was very informative and helped be understand the concept of evil from a different perspective.
