  1. I really enjoyed this chapter since it relates more to our lives. We can see that the male "domination" over women has disappeared in few parts of the world. Nowadays, women are independent, hard worker, and self-sufficient.

  3. It's so strange to look other religions' cultures and practices and compare them to our own. For me, the ability for a grown man to choose a wife that can be eleven years old is crazy, but in Hinduism it's completely normal!

  4. For what we consider a norm in our own religion specifically, can be seen as something frowned upon in another, just like in Hinduism, their practices can be frowned upon in Christianity per say.

  6. Great presentation professor, I really enjoyed this chapter. It talked a little more about the new aspects of religion in the world we live in today (regarding the church and state separation and how that has affected/benefited many of us).

  7. I really liked this chapter because it was very relatable and learning about other religions and their beliefs was great, I am shocked by how they think but then again they are probably surprised by how we do things.
