  1. Can it be that people are losing their faith because of what is happening in the world.

  2. The Unaffiliated group rose +6.7 probably because religion is not an important part of some of our generation's lives. With so many distractions in front of us, we forget to include religion. But in Colombia, Christianity is about all that you see there so maybe the decline in any faith is only happening in the United States?

  3. I strongly agree with the comment above. I believe people from our generation are so caught up and distracted with their busy lives and social media that they do not give time to their faith or religion. However, I think it all depends on the individual person and the people they are surrounded by. If you are part of a family or group that puts religion as number 1 and you have grown up in that ambiance, it is much easier to keep religion prevalent in your life.

  4. I believe the increase of people who are unaffiliated now is because we are caught up on other things. What I mean by that, is that for example parents are more focused on work due to both parents having to work in a household trying to provide for their family. This doesn't allow time to teach their children about religion and what they believe in to pass it on or make them question about other religions.

  5. I just believed people are too occupied with their own lives to want to keep up on religion. Whether, its good or bad for the world, only time will tell.

    1. I strongly agree with you. I think people do not have time for religion as wrong as it might sound. I think that the older generations, like our grand parents, are more religious than we are because when they were younger there wasn't as many distractions as there is today. With social media and technology, people begin to care less about religion and even start losing their faith.
