The hint that they provide about working in study groups emphasizes that we will be getting experience in teamwork. Have to admit I'm thankful for it because I'm a ball of stress when I'm working on my own due to being inclined towards forced perfection.
I was impressed by the fact that working in study groups shows to be a better means of studying than alone. I personally work better in groups but I thought it was sometimes a huge distraction. Now I think that it just depends on who is in your study group and if the group is good at working together or they don't get anything done.
Studying in groups may only help people if the people are actually conveying proper information. Also, it is only helpful if it is not one-sided. By this I mean that it works if everyone helps one another rather than one person helping everyone (i.e. a tutor).
Everyone seems to be really focused on the study groups when there were other helpful tips provided - such as maintaining a positive attitude towards your education so you'll see the optimistic outcome of your studies and just genuinely having enthusiasm for what you're doing.
Today everyone in class was very focused about the group project, I agree that having study groups will help the students to have a better development in any class of college, this idea is supported by statistic statements.
Upon viewing this video, it is a good stepping stone towards achieving a proper attitude in class. Classroom etiquette is underrated as far as education goes because it is a very important fundamental to obtain a successful career as an individual.
These are some very helpful tips that I will most definitely be using throughout the semester. Keeping the required group project for the class in mind, I will look back often at the video to ensure that I am aware of the best strategies to engage in successful teamwork!
I think attitude is very important as well and agree with Isabella when she states that it is the most important point because it will show how much effort and dedication you give towards a task.
These 5 tips were very helpful, the video was informative. The tip I liked the most was #4, having a positive attitude about learning. I do believe students attitude has a big impact on their success in the class.

This video is very helpful, due to the fact that it helps students organize themselves, and understand what is expected for them. This video is very helpful when it comes to helping pass classes, I'm sure anyone who watches this video and follows its guideline will pass any class. Stephanie Cervino

I wish I watched it when I was a freshman. These great tips can help you study efficiently with both in and out of class. Also, keep a positive attitude is another aspect that will very much determine the outcome of your efforts. -Han Zhang
The hint about study groups is not my strength. It is very difficult to study with other people, the most I can manage is 1 extra person studying with me like a one on one. The most effective tip is the one of having a good attitude, you make new friends and you learn easier; well, at least for me.
Hint #3 is by far the most useful hint. I was always so against study groups, because I felt like having other people around would cause a big distraction. Last semester in my genetics class, I found that creating a study group actually helped me tremendously. Shirlbins Gema Dalembert
The tip about forming study groups is definitely a very important one. Study groups, if formed for the actual purpose of studying and not socializing, could determine if a student could pass or fail a class.
I found this video very helpful. Organization I believe is the most important aspect of being successful in college. For myself I have an easier time studying alone in a quiet environment then in a group setting. -Jonah Schropp
Organization is the most important part for me to stay on task. I've never been a fan of study groups because I like to study at my own pace but I probably will be more open to it since hearing others peoples opinions could be very useful.
The video was very helpful. I agree with the effectiveness of group studying, I have personally incorporated that to my study routine and have seen awesome results!
I think that one of the most important tips of the 5 presented in this video is to have a positive mind. Without a positive mind it is very hard to go through anything successfully. Even if it is a hard task one must always be positive and believe that they will do well.
I appreciate the Video, as it shows that you care for your students and want them to succeed. The tips are a helpful reminder that good habits breed success and to not procrastinate.
Study groups are the best. I am never more motivated to get things done than when I am with other people trying to do the same. And of course all the stuff in the video would seem like its logical but sometimes we underestimate the power of working in groups or positive things, and keeping up the material. Is all about a good studying habit.

one of the things that really help is to red the chapter prior to the class, and if your professor have power points, then print them and add some notes to it, so when you go to class you have knowledge of what the professor is going to talk about. Of course, you will make more notes during class, and review after.
I like how this video gives you helpful tips to be successful. I wish study groups were helpful for me, but they distract me. I need to apply these tips a little more in my life.

Definitely a great video for incoming freshman, and even sophomores, to watch and gain a better understanding on how to pass their classes. I feel communicating with ones professor is a big must in passing a class, since it can help you figure out what they're really looking for out of your work.
I found tip #2 to be the most helpful. When I am in a lecture I don't use my laptop or iPad. I have caught myself wandering off and getting distracted while the professor is speaking. Even if I think I'm multitasking, I know I have missed some important information because I was not fully concentrated.
