  1. That is a very long time for a religion to continue on. I guess it is because of the basic moral system that we use in our everyday life.

  6. It is really amazing that so many of the rituals and traditions of this religion have withstood the test of time. I am particularly fascinated by the traditional clothing. I think it is unique that the tunic includes a pocket for good deeds and that even the string wrapped around the waist holds symbolic meaning as well.

I find it amazing that this religion has survived for such a long period of time and that I haven't heard of it in any history class I've taken. Also it's pretty cool to see how the traditions and customs of this religion have survived to this day.

  20. The fact that Zoroastrian has been around so long is interesting. I find it particularly important to remember that they have evolved a bit too, as said in the video. I also found it interesting that they are particularly fond of earths natural elements such as water and fire, as it shows appreciation for the natural things we have around us.

  23. While watching this video I recalled Appiah's "Case for Contamination" article. Particularly when he states non adapting cultures are dead. Those trying to preserve their traditions through actions and individual rather than objects. It is impressive to see Zoroastrians still prominent in several regions being the oldest monotheistic religion.
