It is nice to know that Zoroastrianism has survived and flourished after such a long time in India and Iran. It is interesting to learn that this religion has played such a big influence on various cultures and religions that are widely practiced today.
I fins it amazing how strong the religion Zoroastrianism is and how it has been around for such a long period. It gives an understanding that it has had a great impact on many individuals and cultures.
It is really amazing that so many of the rituals and traditions of this religion have withstood the test of time. I am particularly fascinated by the traditional clothing. I think it is unique that the tunic includes a pocket for good deeds and that even the string wrapped around the waist holds symbolic meaning as well.
I had never heard of Zoroastrianism before taking this class, and it's really interesting to learn about. I find it amazing that this religion has survived for such a long period of time and that I haven't heard of it in any history class I've taken. Also it's pretty cool to see how the traditions and customs of this religion have survived to this day.
The culture is beautiful, lovely. I think this type of traditions produces better human beings even though there is always that one above the others that is not as good.

I think its interesting to see the origin of a religion so old. The culture is fascinating. I think we should appreciate moral values like that more today.
The fact that Zoroastrian has been around so long is interesting. I find it particularly important to remember that they have evolved a bit too, as said in the video. I also found it interesting that they are particularly fond of earths natural elements such as water and fire, as it shows appreciation for the natural things we have around us.
While watching this video I recalled Appiah's "Case for Contamination" article. Particularly when he states non adapting cultures are dead. Those trying to preserve their traditions through actions and individual rather than objects. It is impressive to see Zoroastrians still prominent in several regions being the oldest monotheistic religion.
Very well made video with so much interesting details on Zoroastrianism. I should have take this course in the regular semester to learn more. --Han Zhang
This religion has a very long history, one I knew nothing about. This video was very informative. I only knew Iran as a predominately Islamic nation with some Jews and Christians but I did not know many still practice this very old religion.
That is a very long time for a religion to continue on. I guess it is because of the basic moral system that we use in our everyday life.
