Tanakh versus Old Testament

Published on Aug 24, 2014 The Tanakh and the Old Testament have many similarities but they are not the same scripture. The number and arrangement of books and the inclusion of some apocryphal books is the major difference between the Jewish Tanakh and the Christian Old Testament.

    Im not familiar with the hebrew bible and i learned some interesting things from this video. The Tanakh is the Hebrew bible and divided it into 3 sections. Moses was a vital influence.

    It was interesting to compare Tanakh and the Old Testament of the Bible because I had never been exposed to both points of views.

    Comparing and contrasting these two sacred scriptures is important because many people, myself included, aren't aware of these differences. It was interesting to listen to and reflect on.

    Is there a difference between the hebrew Bible and the Roman Catholic Bible (besides the language of course) or is it the same? I'm asking because I see that the Hebrew Bible contains the 5 books of Moses as well
