  1. I found it really interesting how the Sufi's start off with the white garb but then at the end bow and place a black Shaw over themselves.

  3. This dance exemplifies how Sufi's seek direct contact with god or a divine spirit. This seems to be accomplished through things like meditation and this dance.

  5. I find it every interesting on how different cultures pay their respect and honor their morals through different traditions. If we all took out the time to understand each culture, we might make more connections than assumed and this will help us lessen chaos throughout America.

I really like hearing the diversity of the music in which religions dance to, such as Santeria's music, the music of Native Americans, etc. I also like how they pour their passions and beliefs into their dances and express their devotion to their religion through movements in accordance to the music.
