    The oracle bones and vessels ritual are testaments to the shaman practices of the Shang Dynasty.
    The potting of the Longshan and Banpo suggest that these vessels were made not only for burial but for sacrificial rites connected with the worship of ancestral spirits.

  2. I found it interesting that they left bowls of food and other important items on someone's grave, obviously hinting that they believed in some type of after-life. Their pottery was very intricate, and I found the reoccurring of the swastika extremely interesting.

  4. Wow I always assumed that china was always a one similar culture through out the whole region but this video shows me that even in the way they made simple pottery was different.
