I think this type of announcements are good and necessary for people all around the world to see that not all Muslims are the same and not everyone has the same views, even though they are part of the same community
This is an interesting video. Although I agree with these protesters, and their condemnation of the attacks, I believe that there is still a significant amount of Muslims that would not denounce these attacks, but not enough to constitute a majority. One example may be seen in the Pew Research Poll data of 2006 related to suicide bombings http://www.pewresearch.org/files/old-assets/pdf/muslim-americans.pdf#page=60
I believe if we are to end violent extremism it'll take more than a few protests and appeals to the No True Scotsman fallacy
Unfortunately these instances are of Muslims majorities denouncing extremists is not often covered by the mainstream media. Either due to wanting to push a narrative of conflict or due to lack of viewership. Either way it is nice to see that Channel 4 decided to carve out sometime to cover this denouncement.
I always found it sad how Muslims feel as though they have to constantly prove themselves to the the world and prove that the Islamic religion is not a threat. My heart goes out to them
I hate how society generalizes Muslims with extremist and terrorist. Every religion has extremist and we need to understand to have an open mind and not be so ignorant to what the media is actually showing.
After living in over 5 Muslim countries ive come to find them as some of the nicest people in the world. Every religion and culture has crazy people in it and it is very sad to see this.

I believe, this video help us to think that there are people in Islam who cares about humanity. Not all Muslims are terrorists.
