I like the example he uses about the gold, as seen in many other religions concept of god, he states that God in Islam is eternal, there is nothing like him and he has always existed. Great post!

Although I do believe in God, and one God, Dr. Naik had an interesting and valid point on why "God" isn't the correct term to use- because it isn't pure. For example, in the English language we use the term Godmother or Godfather to depict a specific person, or we use the term God's or Goddesses to describe other "high powers"; however, there is no one or nothing equivalent to God, our Almighty Father.
Being Muslim myself, I agree with him completely. I have seen a few of his other videos, as my mom really likes them. Did you know he has the whole Quran memorized?
Being a Muslim myself i really Dr.Naik he clears up all the stereotypes and misconceptions so smoothly. He refers and respects other religions as well.
Good video! Had a little trouble understanding him because of the strong accent, but overall great post!!

ReplyDeleteThe way he described God was inspiring and great, his example of gold is what made his explanation the better.
ReplyDeleteGreat video! I liked how he explained why muslims call their god by its name and not just say god
ReplyDeleteI would say that the greatest thing for Muslims is to not follow Allah's commandments. Great video btw.

ReplyDeleteDr. Zakir Naik did an excellent job explaining the concept of God in Islam. It's a lot different from the way Christians view God.
