  1. Luther's view of the Human problem went hand in hand with St. Augustine's perspective. They believed the root of the human problem was (sin) or pride - having a self love and false confidence.
Luther believed relics and indulgences were ridiculous and as long as the Church kept implementing them, they would be giving the people false hope and beliefs that went against Christianity and the word of God. According to Luther, salvation can only be achieved through faith and God's divine grace.

  2. I really enjoyed watching this short clip. Overall, I believe the entire film was confusing at first but a great film. It not only focused on the religious issues that were going on during the 16th century but it told a story about how brave and courageous the life of Martin Luther was.

  3. Luther views had a lot of opposition during that time period. His view of human problem was connected with the sin of hummanity, and the pride that people had in their heart. I personally agree with him. I also agree with the religion position that he took in the film, he demonstated a different side of God that a lot of people were not aware of, a God of love.

  5. Luther believed that sin was the root of human problem. Similarly, Christians viewed sin as a part of everyone's life. To help those suffering, Luther introduced a loving, caring side to God that people were better able to relate with and love.

  7. Here, Luther's words are captivating! I hung on to every word and I was even inspired. I can see why he gained the following he did and had the ability to open peoples eyes the way he did. Luther knows how to speak the truth and do so to inspire others.

  11. I think Luther followed his beliefs. He felt that the church was taking advantage on the people and their ignorance.
